Newmarket Day Centre CIO celebrates after receiving £9,100 from the National Lottery to help with our Community Meals Service during the Covid-19 outbreak
The Rotary Club held their annual Carol Concert at Tattersals in December 2019. The Day Centre was the beneficiary of this event.
On the 5th February we were invited to a lunch with the Rotary Club and presented with a cheque for £2,163.00. This will be used to updated equipment in our kitchen and to put towards the updating of our very old conservatory.
The Staff, Trustees and clients thank the Rotary for their continued support and the effort that goes into making the Carol Concert such a great success.
Everybody at The Daycentre would like to express a massive thank you to the Rotary Club for their ongoing support.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 epidemic they have sent us a cheque for £500 every month to help with our ever-growing costs of covering the meals which we send out to the community.
